The Committee

Rob King

After living in Chiswick for six years, and with the perspective of a young family living within Grove Park, I decided it was time to get involved in helping to maintain and develop Grove Park as a community. Since joining the GPG in 2020, I have worked with committee members to help refocus the discussion, introduce fresh ideas and provide support as we tackle relevant local issues. Through taking the Chair role in June 2021 this provides a continued opportunity to develop the GPG over the longer term and help to better serve our members.

Hugh McNeill
Treasurer & Webmaster

Hugh has lived with his family in Grove Park since 2008 and has always been struck by its friendly and close-knit community. He has many years of experience in both non-profit and for-profit enterprises and is passionate about supporting community wellbeing and cohesion. Hugh brings his considerable experience to supporting the committee in the role of treasurer and is pleased to be able to engage more and give back to our local community. Hugh has a car, but is a keen cyclist (and member of the Chiswick Cycling Club), and is interested in the environmental challenges facing us today. He will be looking for ways to sensitively and collaboratively achieve this in Grove Park, and to support community cohesion, health and wellbeing.

Miranda Munden

I have lived in Grove Park with my family since 2009 and joined the GPG committee in 2022.  I work as an Outdoor Instructor and Forest School Leader and love being in nature. I have found Grove Park a friendly and happy place to live, especially having The Thames and Chiswick House within its area. I am enjoying supporting the local community here by serving on the GPG committee, helping to maintain and develop the area for the benefit of all the residents.

Dr Glyn Towlerton Membership Secretary

Glyn has been a Grove Park resident for over 20 years.  His day job is husband, children chauffeur and dog’s lavatory attendant.  He occasionally finds time to practice medicine – something that’s kept him entertained for the last 40 years.  He’s also involved in the local history society, canoe golf and paddle clubs.
He is passionate about William Hogarth and engaging and enhancing our local community.  He has recently retired from trying to run and ski as fast as his kids!

Jacky Taylor, Secretary

I joined the GPG in 2011 & took on the role of Secretary in 2013. I have lived in Grove Park for almost 40 years. My children grew up here & my grandchildren attend Strand on the Green primary school. My main interests in the GPG are to maintain the individual character of Grove Park & to promote a sense of community among the residents.

Lindsay Codsi

I have been a Grove Park resident since 1981. After originally joining CHARA (Chiswick House Area Residents Association) this was eventually disbanded, and I was delighted when the GPG was re-formed, and became a member. I subsequently joined the GPG committee and now, being semi retired, want to devote more time to help nurture the great community spirit we have here in Grove Park. I also look forward to helping to coordinate GPG’s member events.

Graham Holley
Chari & Communications Secretary

I have lived in Grove Park for 17 years, near the river where I may often be seen walking my dog. I was a governor at Strand on the Green Infants for three years. I was a Senior Civil Servant for 30 years, working in various departments including Defence and the Cabinet Office, while the bulk of my time was spent in Education (the last six years as Chief Executive of a government agency with a billion pound turnover). Since taking early retirement I have worked as a consultant and part-time lecturer, and hope to bring some of the skills I have acquired over the years working on behalf of Grove Park residents. I have taken responsibility for Communications & Membership, with lots of opportunities to improve the GPG already underway.
